Know exactly what's in your water.
Water Quality provides a complete mineral composition analysis for 69 bottled water brands available in Europe and worldwide. Every brand profile includes detailed breakdowns of calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, bicarbonate, sulfate, chloride, and fluoride concentrations — giving you a full picture of what you're drinking with every sip.
The app compares mineral levels against recommended daily intake values and highlights where each brand excels or falls short. Whether you're an athlete looking for electrolyte-rich water to support recovery, someone on a low-sodium diet managing blood pressure, or a parent seeking safe water for baby formula preparation, Water Quality helps you make an informed choice tailored to your specific health needs.
pH analysis provides safety ratings based on optimal drinking water standards, with the ideal range of 6.5 to 8.5 clearly indicated for each brand. Waters outside this range are flagged with explanations of what the pH level means for taste, mineral absorption, and overall safety. The app also evaluates total dissolved solids and overall mineral balance to determine whether a water is suitable for daily consumption.
The full comparison feature lets you evaluate multiple brands side by side, making it easy to see how your preferred water stacks up against alternatives. Sort and filter by individual minerals, pH level, or overall quality grade to find the perfect water for your lifestyle, dietary restrictions, or fitness goals.

Receive a comprehensive safety and quality grade based on mineral balance, pH range, contaminant absence, sodium levels, and overall suitability for daily consumption.
Water Quality is powered by an internal database compiled from official water brand mineral analyses, laboratory certifications, and European water quality standards. Each brand's mineral profile is sourced directly from the manufacturer's published composition data and cross-referenced with independent laboratory results where available.
Safety thresholds and quality benchmarks are derived from guidelines established by the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Union Drinking Water Directive, and national food safety authorities. The baby formula safety criteria follow pediatric nutrition guidelines from the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN).
How Water Quality calculates grades
Excellent — Optimal mineral balance, pH within ideal range (6.5–8.5), very low sodium, no contaminants detected. Suitable for all consumers including infants.
Good — Strong mineral profile with minor imbalances. pH within acceptable range. Low sodium levels. A reliable choice for daily hydration.
Moderate — Acceptable mineral composition with some elevated or deficient minerals. pH may be slightly outside optimal range. Suitable for most adults.
Poor — Significant mineral imbalances, elevated sodium or fluoride, or pH outside recommended range. Not ideal for regular consumption or sensitive groups.
Avoid — Fails multiple quality criteria. Extremely high sodium, mineral imbalances, or pH well outside safe range. Not recommended for regular drinking.
The Water Quality grade is calculated from a weighted formula evaluating mineral balance across all eight tracked minerals, pH range adherence (optimal 6.5–8.5), sodium concentration relative to dietary guidelines, fluoride levels, and an overall safety profile that considers suitability for sensitive populations including infants and people on restricted diets.
